Our guide, Norma, took our group of 6 around Shinjuku eating and chatting in various neighborhoods. She has excellent local knowledge and took us to 4 different locations. We started off with skewers and beer, ramen, and sushi before heading off to the bar area. The overall experience was great, Norma was a great host and guide and answered all of our questions, including providing an insight into the dating culture of men and women that was totally fascinating. We ate delicious food, lots of laughs, and learned a lot about Japanese culture as well as food. My wife and I had a good time and thought it was great.

I had a great tour with a group of 6 people. We toured Shinjuku and went to some restaurants we never knew we would go to on our own. We tried yakitori, ramen, and sushi. It’s a great variety and all the food was delicious. We learned a lot about food and culture from our tour guide. We ended up having one last drink at Golden Gai. I enjoyed learning about the history of the area. I highly recommend!

Probably the best night during our short stay in Tokyo. Satoshi is an expert guide and took us to hidden dining establishments. Great food, lots of it. An overview of this vast city. I strongly recommend it.

This experience was amazing from start to finish! My tour guide, Sarah, was very knowledgeable about the area and told me about both the history and current situation of the area.
My experience in Tokyo was enriched. It was my first time to eat Japanese BBQ, and the skewers were amazing. I was able to try a variety of new foods that I had never eaten before! The walk around Shinjuku afterwards was also wonderful. But the real high point of this experience was when I said I was a metalhead.
Sarah listened and took me to a bar specific to my community! We went there many times during our 2 week stay and it was all thanks to Sarah and this tour! Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the Shinjuku area!

It was a wonderful evening exploring the back streets and hidden gems of Shinjuku with our wonderful guide Chambliss. The food was excellent and the portions were plentiful, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sake pairing for the first time. with our teenagers Young adults will also love our selection of interesting drinks to pair with their dishes. We dined with Kazuki and he was amazing! I really liked his enthusiasm and professionalism. He was also happy to answer candid questions about life in Japan. I kept asking him questions not only about food, but also about dating, health, education, etc. The tour was very fun and informative as I got to see the locals’ perspectives and experiences. Overall it was a great tour and I would love to go again with Kazuki. Oh, of course the food in Tokyo is delicious, but I was expecting more.
