We had a great time on the tour. Mr. Ryo was a great guide, knowledgeable, patient and very kind. I was celebrating a birthday and he made sure I enjoyed this area of Tokyo. I would like to have them book other tours as well.

Our guide, Hiromi, was wonderful. She talked with us, listened to what we were interested in, and tailored the plan to fit our interests. We really enjoyed the restaurants we went to and the food breaks were great. We had a delicious sushi lunch and also tried the BBQ. I also went to a maid cafe and it was so fun and cute!

We took the tour with a group of friends and family. Our guide was Eugene. The whole tour was great. Eugene did everything he could to make sure each of us had an experience that matched our interests. The entire tour was one of the nicest and most informative tours we have experienced. I highly recommend this tour if Eugene is your guide.

I recently went to Tokyo for the first time and stayed in Akihabara. I can’t praise them enough! I booked this tour on the 23rd and received a response right away and started answering my questions before the tour date. During the tour, they were very good at conversation, which was enough to bring me out of my shell as an introvert. They helped me find specific figures from specific anime that aired years ago, and it just got better from there. Their ability to ask a few simple questions and plan a 4-hour tour that was interesting, fun, and exciting the entire time was amazing. Next time I visit, I will definitely hire again! I’m looking forward to picking up where I left off and seeing more of what this area has to offer. Thank you for a good time!

My husband and I are big fans of anime and Japanese culture. Therefore, I wanted to explore Akihabara. It can be quite overwhelming for first-time visitors, so having a personalized guide can be very helpful. I usually join large group tours, but I’m guided through every nook and cranny.
It’s great to have a private guide who will do it for you. Jordyn was knowledgeable, engaging, and provided a lot of insight and guidance. It was great to explore through the eyes of a local. I liked that the tour company sent us questions before the tour to help guide our experience and provide recommendations as well. We were able to take what we learned from this experience with us when we returned to explore on our own. I highly recommend this tour, as well as any other City Unscripted tour, as having a local guide really helps you navigate this amazing country.

It’s like having a good friend showing you around the city. Jordyn speaks perfect Japanese, English, and French, knows lots of fun places, and does everything she can to make this experience truly memorable. They’re fun and easy to talk to, and they make you feel welcome in Tokyo even if you don’t speak any Japanese.
