What is the most recommended method of transportation?
While each mode of transportation has its advantages, I most recommend the Shinkansen route.
Why Bullet Train are recommended
It is recommended that you take the Bullet Train from Haneda Airport to Kanazawa. Traveling by Bullet Train is more expensive than by bus, but the journey is 6 hours faster. Also, taking the Bullet Train is more comfortable than taking an overnight bus.
Although it is not in operation at the moment, we recommend flying to Komatsu Airport if there is a direct flight to Komatsu Airport at the right time, as you can go there without changing planes.
Does the Shinkansen go to Kanazawa?
There is a Shinkansen to Kanazawa, but it does not go directly from Narita Airport. The Shinkansen to Kanazawa is available from Tokyo Station to Ueno Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
The Hokuriku Shinkansen passes through Karuizawa and other famous sightseeing spots along the way, so if you have enough time, it is recommended to take a side trip to Kanazawa.
Does the bullet train go to Narita Airport?
There is no bullet train service from Narita Airport. So naturally, there is no line from Narita Airport to Kanazawa. The only trains that leave Narita Airport are JR and Keisei lines.
Therefore, to get to Kanazawa, you must take one of the lines to Tokyo Station or Ueno Station and board the Hokuriku Shinkansen introduced earlier.

Narita airport to kanazawa taxi fare
Basically, it is not possible to go from Narita Airport to Kanazawa by regular cab, but if you book a hire car, you can go to Kanazawa for a fixed fare of 160,000 yen. The number of passengers can be from 1 to 9. The more people, the cheaper the trip, so this is recommended for families or friends.
For one or two people, other modes of transportation are much cheaper. This is recommended if you are traveling with several people or have a lot of luggage.
Can I use a Suica card in Kanazawa?
Suica can be used on trains in Kanazawa City. Please note that some bus routes are not available. Suica and PASMO can basically be used throughout Japan. However, only Ehime, Kochi, and Tokushima prefectures in Shikoku cannot be used.
In addition to Suica and PASMO, relatively minor IC cards such as PiTaPa, ICOCA, Kitaca, manaca, and TOICA can be used in Kanazawa.
