After arriving at Narita Airport
After arriving at Narita Airport, follow the instructions to the quarantine counter. When the quarantine station distributes a questionnaire on the plane, fill out the necessary information and submit it to the quarantine counter. If you feel unwell, please notify the quarantine officer or the Health Counseling Office.
Present your passport at the immigration counter and undergo immigration inspection. If you use the facial recognition gate or automated gate, your passport will not be stamped. If you would like a stamp, please ask a staff member. After completing immigration, head to the 1st floor arrival lobby.
Check the airline and flight number on the information board, then proceed to the turntable. Please confirm that your baggage is yours using the baggage claim tag you received when you checked in your baggage, and then collect your baggage.
If you wish to bring plants or livestock products into Japan, you will need to submit certain certification documents and undergo inspection at the Plant/Animal Quarantine Counter.
When entering Japan, you will need to submit a declaration form for personal effects and unaccompanied items. In addition to the items you bought in your home country, you should also fill out the declaration form for personal effects and unaccompanied items, as well as items you have kept with you.
